🇮🇳 Free & Private Reservation Eligibility Checkers for Indian Students (JEE, NEET, UPSC, SSC)

About Student Setu

Student Setu is an independent educational platform created to help students and families in India understand government eligibility rules, especially related to OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservations and scholarships.

Navigating official notifications, government circulars, and eligibility criteria can be confusing. Student Setu exists to simplify complex rules into clear, structured, and easy-to-use tools so students can check their likely eligibility before applying for official certificates, college admissions, or competitive exams.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bridge the information gap between complex government policies and the students who need them. We aim to:

  • Demystify reservation and eligibility rules through simple explanations.
  • Provide interactive, rule-based checker tools for instant guidance.
  • Save students from misinformation, unnecessary delays, and rejected applications.
  • Promote transparency and awareness around legal and constitutional provisions.

What We Do

  • OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Checker: A detailed assessment tool that analyzes income rules, parental employment, and DoPT criteria.
  • EWS Eligibility Checker: A tool that checks family income and asset limits according to Central Government guidelines.
  • Educational Guides: Clear articles explaining notifications, required documents, and application procedures.

100% Privacy-First Architecture

We believe privacy is a fundamental right. Unlike many portals, Student Setu does not require user accounts, phone numbers, or Aadhaar numbers. All calculations are executed locally inside your browser. Your financial or family details are never stored on any server.

Independent Initiative

Student Setu is an independent, privately maintained educational platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government department, ministry, or issuing authority. Official certificates can only be granted by authorized government officers.
